Adult Associate Homes

Our associate home program provides clients with individualized care within a family home setting. We place high needs adult clients in an appropriate associate family home, providing them with all the necessary care and supports. Adults in these homes benefit from the loving and structured environment of a real family home and are encouraged to become active members of their community and household.

In deciding where to place a client, we conduct interviews and home visits to ensure compatibility with the host family. Clients do best when paired with a home provider that shares similar interests and is committed to helping them reach their goals. We work with home providers to create a plan of care for clients, and ensure clients’ safety through regular inspections and site visits. Families are also provided with flexible support adapted to their needs, including training and orientation, a Hatts Off staff supervisor, and respite support.
